If the Mayans are right, we have two more years! Let's resolve to do as many good things as we can and to have fun along the way.

Dallas and Ruth left about one p. m. We slept late and had a
late breakfast. Yesterday we went to see the Oklahoma City Memorial..at their request and Ted and Dallas enjoyed themselves hugely talking to a man who was one of the first responders. These things are not my cup of tea.

We had a good time and got caught up. They are so conservative and sooo prejudiced and Ruth is so religious but we ignore our differences and have a good time anyway.

We saw the new year in with champagne and snacks. The couple next door set off some fireworks and it was a very tame evening. Ruth was on new medication and feeling much better. Rex was unable to stay up and went to bed at 9:30. I still have some feta cheese and artichoke dip. I have developed a huge fondness for artichokes.
