I like controversial posts. I think too many equate "pro-choice" with "pro-abortion" and they are not. What gets me, is why is the "pro-life" crowd and politicians also anti-education in regards to preventing pregnancy? I mean if you REALLY want less abortions, lets make stronger penalties for those who commit incest and rape, lets educate people on the ways to prevent pregnancy and STDs, and lets make adoption easier.

I agree with robin, don't be too cool, he might think that you like his being away. From the sounds of the conversation (not wanting to "jinx" things) I think he may be coming around, especially with what your mutual friend said. You can keep your promise to not call, but personally an "accidential" by chance running into him out someplace that he goes to may be good. couldn't hurt.

About $2 billion in economic stimulus rebate checks are being confiscated to pay overdue bills for child support, student loans and back taxes, the government says.

So far, 1.8 million rebate checks have been intercepted by Treasury Department computers showing that individuals owe money to federal or state governments.
