Text to Speech is Live!

TTS (text-to-speech) is live on MyBloggers. The little play button next to the article title should now read the blog post when pressed. Remember, this is just a beta version of the processing and may sound a little robotic, etc.

This implementation may add a few seconds to the page display when viewing a post. We are going to change that in a day or so. We are also going to be adding different voice selections.

Please give me your comments or suggestions regarding this feature.

I click the button; the button goes away and nothing happens

Possibly the button discriminates against kittehs? Or maybe it's something in this foul brew:

Eddie, dis voice sounds sounds like a gangsta from Brooklyn. Can I get a nice lady's voice to read my bunny blogs?

Dear Eddie,
This new voice is more articulate, annunciates reads things more clearly, with fewer odd paused, and I like it a lot. Is there a middle aged woman's voice, or might there be a sweet soprano voice in the foreseeable future?
