At first I wanted to leave the background white then opted to do this. Wish I had left it white! Maybe if I work on it a little more...I don't like how the acrylics "blend"- or fail to. Maybe I will go over that background in oils and try for a smoother blending effect.

I was never before a political-minded person. Well, not a political zealot like some, anyway. In the past I thought of politics as something that amused some but bored me to tears. I am, however, so outraged by the lies and distortions flailed against Obama and the current administration that I am more 'politically-minded' than ever in my life. Every day it is something new. Yesterday it was that Obama canceled the National Day of Prayer to the outrage of our nation's Christians. So much B.S. Pure fiction. Only one president ever held a ceremony marking the occasion in the White House (Bush) and Obama simply declines to do so- like all of the other 42 presidents before Bush! He has not canceled anything! He has not refused anyone to hold a Day of Prayer.

I have a doctor's appointment today, and then I need to finish the Breeze. Now that it is all laid out, I have to prepare a full color on-line copy and a black and white for the printers. That will likely take all weekend.
