The long-awaited cold front finally arrived. Our daily temperatures were up in the eighties through last week but over the weekend the temperatures dropped dramatically. It feels kind of nice out there although I pity the folks in South Carolina and Georgia still recovering from that awful flood. Now, they are both wet and cold. Some of our members are FEMA volunteers and a few are up in that area contending with the aftermath of their torrential rains these past weeks. Sometimes FEMA volunteers get to stay in motels, but often they live in tents, campers or mobile homes owned by the agency.

I am working on my newsletter and going crazy because I am working on two at the same time. Soon I will also be doing the newsletter for VSA Arts here in Florida as well. That one should be fun!

I have not had time to paint. There is only so much time and I have spent a lot of it recently cleaning up the decks, house and yards and working on newsletters. Soon I need to find the time to at least paint this year's Christmas card. Does anyone know how to make the clock run slower so that I can finish everything that I need to get done?
