I decided to paint twelve images for a calendar. This is January. Besides the image, each month will have a thought. January's thought: "Without a plan, it's just a dream." I hope to have the image and the thought tie in to the month directly or indirectly. (January- resolutions-President's Day...please tell me he looks a little like old George!)

I refused to work Easter so I painted instead. Today I finished this and ran some errands. This is scanned and my scanning bed will only scan up to 9"x12" so much of the area around the boy and the mirror are not visible. I think I like it cropped close- but maybe not quite this close!

I am celebrating. My son and his daughter are having a second baby. It is due October or November. They will not know for sure until Missy has her sonogram. How wonderful!
