My Christmas cards are not addressed, I have a package that still needs to be mailed and my house is screaming to be cleaned, so I retreated from all of the "should do's" and painted instead. This is something I have put off painting for a while. It is a photo taken by a fellow Auxiliarist who lives in Ft. Lauderdale, but he took the photo up north somewhere. I just thought that with the right colors, that it would make a nice landscape.

I've got to work on my photography. In the last few photographs of my paintings, I just did not capture the colors the way they really are. Maybe because it is winter and the sun is at a different angle than in the summertime? Probably loose half of another day figuring that out. Still, that is more interesting than cleaning!
