I used pictures of my grandson to paint this. It is actually painted with a landscape orientation and I had to extend the sky to create a portrait orientation. All of the calendar images are portrait- deliberately. Now I am wondering if my daughter-in-law would like this. I'd like to give it to her for Mother's Day. My oldest son and his wife are not fans of my artwork. They have different tastes. The painting I did of my son and grandson hangs in their bathroom. At least it seen by guests when they need to use the facilities! All of my other artwork is in their basement. This is the one in their bathroom.
