It's been over a week since I've been for a walk of any length, so I applaud your routine and your conviction to stick to it! The sun is supposed to be out tomorrow, I have the day off, and Edie has to work (so she will have the car), so guess what I AM going to do tomorrow! I think I'll head for the walking side of the bike path and take it from there! (What can be better than a walk through wooded areas and along the waterfront?
Gee, I don't know what the problem could be or what else to do about it except wait for yahoo to answer you or fix it. But, just as I was finishing your post, it dawned on me that the agency I'm affiliated with has been unable to access one of their email accounts/contacts. The entire thing is devoted to attendees of bridal shows who wanted to be put on the email list for honeymoon specials and offers. The agency is frantic because this could mean a loss of business, so they have contacted yahoo, too, and are anxiously waiting for this to be remedied.
I loved the first one, so I know I want to see this one! I can't wait to see it!
I already love Cassidy! It's so good to know that the birds are getting along.
Nah, you're not counting.
This is so exciting!
That is quite a story and a real good read.
I love the last two lines of this!
Once again, sometimes love is more important than the gender. And, even if someone marries out of their "orientation" (or has a fling with someone out of their "orientation") it doesn't change their orientation. Sometimes it's all for fun and sometimes it's due to specific circumstances. Otherwise, I guess, the subject might be bisexuality.
I can only think that someday in the far future that some actors/actresses will be regarded as legendary, star-quality icons, regardless of the bombs and shabby reviews they get now. I know from reading some biographies that not all of who are considered "classic actors" escaped the criticisms and failures that critics, fans, and box offices dished out. Some struggled for over a decade or more before achieving any real success or approval. By the same token, some "superstars du jour" were has-beens before they knew what hit them. Only time will tell.
As for this movie, I could almost tell from the promos that it was going to be a silly "nothing", but that sort of movie sometimes surprises everyone. They are often popular in the summer "drive-in or Saturday night date" season and/or will acquire a following long after it's initial run.
I am not a Diaz fan, however I do not dislike her and I will not avoid a movie that she is in.
Did you see that movie? What did you think of it? Aside from your opinion of the movie, though, I do remember John Phillip Law and his role in Barbarella. In today's world of Victoria's Secret's angels, I can almost see John Phillip Law as a model for what could be the male counterpart, Victor's Secret! Anyway, it's sad that he is gone.
To add to what redimpala said, I believe I heard somewhere in my upbringing and in church that we are supposed to PRAY for our enemies. That's a far cry from we are supposed to hate our enemies. First of all, there's no reason for someone who is different to BE an enemy and, of course, we should not be the ones to sit in judgement. But, even if one doesn't like who or what another person is, it's no excuse for hatred, especially acts of hatred.
I love being in farm areas! I love seeing veggies and horses and, yes, I love seeing cows! I think your hodge-podge of a post was really nice.
I applaud the "guts" As the World Turns to carry out a continuing story line like this instead of just throwing in a short feature as a fill-in sub-plot. I, who no longer watches soaps, would have no problem watching this soap if I was ever going to return to regular daytime tv viewing.
