Someone had it coming, but I get the message...two wrongs don't make a right. But, sometimes...oh, sometimes it does come down to POW! Let's hope the bullies back off. Enough is enough. Oh, by the way, he's one good lookin' kid! Very cute.
Diabetes isn't usually an easy thing to accept right away, but it's not that difficult to monitor if kept under control. Many people, including my partner and my brother, have been living with it for awhile and find it not to be as much of a pain in the neck as it was in the beginning.
Oh, sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. One should never assume anything, take anything for granted, so I am glad you will be seeing your oncologist. I pray all goes well.
So, let me get this right...the guy was drunk (I've heard of being really drunk, but nothing like this), he took off his clothes and climbed INTO the stool? What? Did he not want to get his clothes dirty or mussed up?
Airplane "facilities" that don't facilitate anything needing facilitating. Now, if one ever needs to use those facilities to "freshen up", I suggest sidling into the tiny crevice with your arms already raised, deoderant in one hand, razor in the other, toothbrush with paste already in mouth, and comb already stuck in hair. Secure door (don't worry, it will secure like none ever seen before) and wait. Before you can count to 10, turbulence will shake you, lift you, push and poke at you. If you don't resist, and that's quite hard to do anyway, and you just let yourself be like an old sock in a clothes dryer, the deoderant will be applied, the face shaved, the teeth brushed, and the hair combed. Maybe not the way you wanted it done, but it will be done! Open door, if you can, and emerge a whole new you!
That is so neat! Wow!
What a story! It's sad, but it also instills some pride in all of us that we have had people like this in our midst. Let's hope he has sent an example for others to follow and live up to.
I think it's great if you can past it and continue to help. Some people just can't be positive or say anything appreciative...that doesn't mean they're not.
You're stumping me on that last one!
Now, THAT'S a story worth telling! Thank YOU for telling it!
I won't be eating black watermelons any time soon, I see!
It must be nice to be able to spend it as you please...I'm just glad some gets shared with people in need.
That is great, Tracy!
I always thought that a lot of men are just boys in bigger and older bodies. From the looks of this post, I was right!
It's great to think that some good news exists among the mess of bad news. Both are such happy news, too...thanks for sharing.
