My, that was some video! Eerie but cool! This is not a country for such old structures as that, so there's a feeling of fairytale and cold chill at the same time. Being haunted, well that just adds to the mystique.

The castle itself, though, must have made quite a setting for a wedding. I can picture in my mind what it must have been like. I envy Alexander a little bit, too...yummy on that chocolate cake!

If we don't speak, then nobody will hear. We were given the right to do so, so do it! We don't have to agree on everything, but who the heck will know what is wanted, unwanted, liked, disliked, perceived right or perceived wrong if people keep their mouths shut. Speak up whenever you you have something to share, and act whenever you can! Do it for the love of this country and all you hold dear if you don't want to see it taken away from you.

Tracy, I saw the comment left by augusta and your reply...I'm wondering if you have any amount of space in a backyard or sideyard where you could put a stationary exercise bike. You could always cover it over with a tarpaulin or plastic cover sheet...even an old shower curtain or two.

Also, on the note of jumping rope...I can't believe you're not that coordinated! Here's a little tip...get a rope of whatever length you need to tie each end to a fence post, rail, clothes line pole, tree, whatever. Tie one end securely to whatever it is, tie the other end to whatever is available. Make the height of the rope be anywhere from 3 to six inches above the ground...make the rope tension taut enough to maintain that height. (Twine of some sort will work, too.) Now, facing the rope, hop over it, turn and hop over. That's one way. Another way, stand with the rope to one side of you and hop over sideways, then hop back. You can also make up some moves of your own. Do as many of each or do as long as you can for a darn good workout. (This can also be done indoors, just secure each end of something rope-like to two chair legs or lower drawer handles...just improvise. Maybe you can get the boys to help in the fun...(outdoors) give each one end of a rope and have them swing it ever so slightly left to right and back again, so it's swinging back and forth. Each time the rope comes toward you, jump over it. Repeat until you "miss", then let each boy take a turn until a jump is missed.

Your kids sure know how to keep busy. It's nice, though, that there is always time for their mom, isn't it?

I've made a note of this book. If the need should ever come up, I like to have information at my fingertips.

Edie and I laughed so hard while watching The Bucket List, not just because it was funny, but poignant in so many ways. And, then, without warning, we were scavenging for tissues and napkins and anything we could use to help keep us from drowning from the waterworks. By the time the movie was over, I could say that I had cried as hard as I had laughed. I enjoyed the entire movie.

I'd say "Fix it now or adios!" I don't think anybody can say you're being too pushy or demanding if these have been on-going problems for so long. You've actually been more than patient!

I love, love, love orchids! What a nice touch to the place.

That's a great event! I'm all for that sort of gathering all over the place.

Weather is amazing to watch, but not always when you're hoping everything stays perfect. I don't pity those workers who have to hustle everything out of the weather.

I don't know if I would want to see this, although the story would be of some interest to me. I'm just not sure.

I just realized my problem! I've somehow managed to finally be able to make ends meet in 1955, but it took me so long to do it that it's 2008! Darn, I had better get a new job if I'm ever going to at least afford 1994!

How awful! A drunk driver can change someone's life forever and not just his own. My brother is always more fearful of the drunk and reckless drivers than of any road or weather conditions...those big rigs just don't stop or swerve out of the way like so many other kinds of vehicles. This is really sad...there are enough accidents, injuries, and casualties in life as it is, why risk more? Drink at home, let somebody else drive, walk, or don't drink!

You have made my mouth water. Oh, yummy, yummy, and more yummy!

Too bad you don't have a personal secretary to handle your emails for you, screening out the ones that don't matter, saving anything worth saving, and printing out other things for you to read as you are up to doing. That same secretary can not write a blog for you, but could print out or read them to you. I know you don't really want to unsubscribe, but to stay subscribed might just over-jam your email account and overwhelm you in the blogs-to-read situation. (Did you check to see if the rehab facilities have internet access? Nowadays with families and friends spread so far apart, I hear some are providing that service so patients can stay in touch with loved ones.)

That is quite a sight! I would love to see that. You were so lucky to get to visit this place, have a meal, and catch the view.
