Those darn men! Selective hearing...and then selective processing of what they hear on top of it!
It just goes to show that everyone is susceptable to behavior very much unlike themselves due to any number of reasons. It's so hard for people to understand this, but we all have a pressure point no matter how good, calm, and control we may be. Those with continuing problems, well that's a different story...but, abuse in this case is so most likely not to have been intended, therefore a very bad accident. I hope she and the child are ok, I hope they both get the help and love they need.
That's quite nice...I can see it being worn with a cute little outfit with a plaid or country print. Very nice.
Yep, all mean happines...ohhhhh, the Friendly's looks real good! Happiness is knowing you're happy, too...so I am happy!
Congrats to meranda and I hope she enjoyed those cookies!
Alladin is one of my favorites because of the song "A Whole New World". I actually cry when I hear that song because it makes me feel such a longing for traveling...and reminds me that I don't get to see the places I would love to see, but it also reminds me how wonderful so many places and things in this world are."
I hope you've gotten rather settled in again at work. It does take a little adjusting, but I'm sure you're pretty used to that by now.
You honesty, how candid you sometimes are, makes me respect you so much. You are such a good person, so willing to reach out and help others, yet you always have time for your family's needs. I admire that goodness, but I also admire the ability you have for sharing a message. You reach people with your writings. The messages are clear and encouraging without being lecturing or threatening, which I think would turn a lot of people away. Instead, a gentle, but firm loving "lesson" is given in how to recognize, cope, and conquer all areas of abuse and the effects of abuse. Once again, Kelli, this was an excellent post!
These are all very funny and I thank you for delivering some laughs to me today. These are great even if I can relate to them.
I know there can be some setbacks...often due to meds needing adjusting. Sometimes it's just the body itself that wants a break from trying to recover so much, so it can get a second wind. I'm glad you are feeling better than you were...improvement sure does take awhile, doesn't it?
Ohhhh, I need to get caught up so I know how all of this played out. I think it stinks that you are dealing with this sort of thing...it's unfair, as well, because it leaves a person hanging...not knowing if they should wait or start looking for something else.
If it's 19 miles of scenery, at least it's a pretty drive if the going gets slow. With congestion on the East Coast, although there are two grocery stores, each within a mile of my apartment, it can take anywhere from 5 mins to 30 mins to reach either one depending on the day and time. The summer visitors are gone, but the college is in.
Very nice and interesting pictures, by the way.
Whatever happens will happen. It may be something good, it may be something disappointing, but it's just a something that will launch you into a future point that you will be your next moment in life, whether it be teaching or something else. That's what makes life an adventure...not always easy or the way we want it, but still an adventure. No matter what happens with this or anything else in life, see it as the thing that was meant to happen at that moment so you could move on and be free of it to deal with the next moment...just go, go, go because you are doing just fine and you will continue to do so.
I know it's too late to play, but I was going to try guessing anyway. Then I saw the correct answer and knew I never would have guessed that. Oh, well. The prize looked good again, too, by the way!
Oh, what fun! I like it the fun on the canal, nice party atmosphere. I'd like to see it live someday, if possible. Looks like a lot of fun!
