I’ve started this blog three times, and deleted it.     So I’m going to try this again.   This week has been odd, all sorts of things going on.   Some of them good…some really disturbing. 

Most of you know that where I work that we share a building with several other agencies.    We all get along great and spend a lot of time laughing, talking and driving each other a little crazy.  It helps to pass the time when you’re dealing with some of the folks we all deal with.     Anyway two of the ladies are leaving at the end of the month,  one to go to a full time job with benefits, and the other to go into the family business.   For both it means better pay, benefits and more time with family so that’s great.     I hate it, I’ll miss them…I’ll be the only female in this office.   Sound fun to you?     I’m not so sure..LOL

The disturbing part came Monday, one of the ladies I use to work with was arrested.   According to newspapers she tried to strangle her child.    I would not have believed it if I had not seen the newspaper and her picture myself.    I still am having a really hard time wrapping my head around this one.   I can’t see her hurting a flea, she was always so sweet, soft spoken and adored her child.     We often spoke of her child and she would talk for hours on end, she adored her and the child did her mom also.   This is all so hard to understand.     As a single mom I know she was under a lot of pressure and it seems her depression got the best of her.   I’m not trying to justify what she did, it was very wrong.    Mental illness can make you do things you never thought you would ever do.     This family needs prayers.  

How's that for news, and it's only Wednesday....sorta makes you wonder what the rest of the week is going to bring...
