The van is legal and running.
I called my dad in "Florida", he had a friend who lives just down the road from us. He called him, and he was willing to help.
Of course, he had alot of stuff he needed to do. So I was with him for like 6 hours. Still, it was worth it.
Adding the van to the insurance, only added $250.00 to the policy for 6 months. The plates were $29.00. The Battery was the worst part. That was $112.00, but I will get $12.00 back when I take in the old battery.
I still have to worry about how reliable it is. It really isn't. But at least we have a "legal" working vehicle for now.
I don't know if I am in the show or not still. That's the only problem. If I'm not I can still do something decent next weekend. So I'm not too worried really.
The motor seems to run pretty good. Just that transmission seems to slip pretty bad.
Anyway.. glad I got all that done.
Take care, Gary :)
