Now, here is a blog I wanted to write some time ago. Just never did. Got "side tracked" on other crap".. lol. It's still one I always wanted to write.

This blog is about, how "shows" really work. How these "events" you go to "really work". You "may or not" believe me.. but I can say. I've set up at "thousands" of events. Since I was a little kid really. I'm 37 now.

Generally, at any event I meet the "promoters", I meet the vendors. I meet the "bands" playing.. everyone really. I know for a "fact" how everything works.

I've been trying to think of the "Best" example. I'd guess that would be "Daytona Bike week". So this would be my example.

Daytona Bike week is "KNOWN" to be a place where "women take their tops off", everyone drinks openly. Hell last time I did that show, people "openly" smoked pot while waiting for me to do their custom designs.

So here I was. First time doing "Daytona Bike week". I was a HUGE hit! That's saying it mildly. I heard before.. religious groups, and others were trying to stop basically everything there.

I was "right beside" the world famous "Iron Horse Pub". I was hanging out with the "Sound man for David Allen Coe". I hung out in the "sound booth" while top bands played.

I asked him this. I said, I heard the "county/city" or whatever were trying to change this. They don't want women getting "topless", and wondered what was up. He told me. Yes, there is a "problem" with that now. However, Daytona brings "Millions in". The amount of money that comes here is incredible! Basically we are told, and the police.. to turn the "other way". Say what? Yeah Gary,, It's all fine unless we somehow get the "sign" to turn away. Other then that.. all goes on as usual.

So I went to the store. Right beside the "Iron Horse Pub". This lady was right by the door (of the store). She tells me.. (seen this flashing thing on my jacket). "Can I have that? NO! The funny thing was. The cop was less then 15 feet away eating a donut. Turned the other way. Here's how things work. I'll say for a fact. Not every show (well not most) you will get a chick naked playing with herself in public. However, there is ALWAYS something. Shows work way different then most think.
