A Journey Into My Life

Super Duper Hungry

I woke today kinda late. I was like "Super duper" hungry.

We still haven't got the car back yet (It will be soon), so for now I am on the "Bicycle".

It's about 2 miles to the store. The way there is "easy". There is this major big hill going to downtown (where the stores are). I'm talking one like you'd see in Pennsylvania or something.

I told Roxann, I feel like "Ribs on the grill". I'm gonna ride the bike. Do you need anything else? (She gave me a list).

So I think.. wow, that's alot. I know I will want a 12 pack. I'll want the "Ribs". Condiments, and other stuff. Plus my "Green Tea".

Have you heard about "Green Tea"? It's super healthy. Antioxidant, plus it boosts metabolism naturally. I read an article about how good for you it is. Been hooked ever since. Well you can get it most anywhere. But around here the "sugar free" variety is hard to find. So I decided to ride to the "far away" grocery store. (Note: I am not overweight or diabetic, but I have had borderline sugar all my life. So I never buy sugar stuff).

Roxann says, do you want "Stephens" back pack? I thought that would help. We emptied it, and I went to the store...

I got there.. and was SO SO Hungry. They always say, don't go grocery shopping on an empty stomach. Well, I am not one to listen to logic well.

I grabbed a cart, and filled it with all sorts of chit. I kept adding more. Stocked up on my "Sugar free Green Tea". I've done it before (on a bike), just never this big of hills. I keep thinking (as I put more in) "This will be a BITCH getting home". But then I also thought, I need a workout.

I got out of the store, and on my Bike. Wow.. I didn't realize just how much I bought. Hummmm... how to get it all home. (two miles, up a HUGE hill).

I called Roxann. This may take me awhile. No possible way to ride the bike home. I'll be lucky to "strap" it on and walk it. So.. might be a few hours before the cookout. Ok "hun" (she says, see ya when you get here). I think she was "laughing inside".. lol. She knows my nature. She kinda smiled when I walked in "huffing and puffing"..

The hill was the hard part. I walked it up there, and that was super hard. That was like 1 mile (4 mile round trip there and back). When I got to the top however, I remembered my "Algebra, Geometry" and all that other crap I learned in school. So I spend like a half hour "positioning" weight, so I could actually ride the bike home. I tied bags everywhere. I made the backpack where is was "full", but enough weight I could handle. I put the "Bicycle in low gear".. and rode it home the last mile. Felt like I was driving a 2 ton truck (it was heavy), but I made it.

So we had a "good cookout" (thanks to me.. lol). Both her kids are gone right now, so it was just us and Sebastian.

After that, I spent a few hours in the "Garden". Weeding, and watering. It's so big.. watering alone is a pain in the ass. We got one of those "osculating" spray things.. but it needs to be moved dozens of times a day (plus the hoses) to get enough water to all the garden. I will say, about "half" of the plants are up already. Some doing quite well. It's gonna be 100% Organic, but really that's just because we can't afford "fertilizer or weed killer" (not for this huge thing anyway)..

So that was "my day today". Now I am here blogging..

Gary :)
