A Journey Into My Life

Show/website

First, the website. My new debit card came in. I had to put money it (via Western Union) and activate it. Once I did, I immediately updated my "hosting", to a paid service. So for those who have seen the site before (in progress), all the pop-ups are now gone.

I could get a .com address for like $10 a year. I was going to do that also today.. but every domain I want is taken. I know why they are taken. I had them before. When I went through some hard times, I lost them. Some big company that buys domain names bought them. "Handcutcoins.com is taken, coincutter.com is taken, cutoutcoins.com is taken. I can't think of anything else.. so I'm probably gonna stick with just the sub-domain. Let me know any thoughts on this. I can add a domain "at any time" for $10 a year, and the subdomain will continue to work. To me, since I can't have the domain I want.. it's just as well to use the sub-domain. Which is:

(Take a look!)

Well, the website is "fully functional now". I will be adding things, updating things (websites are always a work in progress) so it will continue to grow. It is however now where I can call it a "real site", and not just something

-------------

The show went "really well" today. There was a ton of people there, and I was busy the whole day (8am-3pm). I hated waking at 6am though.. lol, but it was definetely worth going.

The place books up fast. I was first told there was no room, but was called back last minute because someone (they said) cancelled. The two ladies that run the thing really liked us there. They bought stuff, and plan on ordering more. Now when I called in, they didn't know me. They said you need to reserve your space at least a week in advance, but most reserve for the entire year. I am "certain", we can call at anytime now, and they "will" find us a spot. That's where I am lucky. Most every promoter that met me, knows it's a unique product. They want us there. 99% of them will bend their own rules to let you in, even when they have turned others away. This is not a "spoken thing", but usually works that way.

This is the best part of the entire day. There was two large trucks there. I guess they are at this place alot. It's a business. I think what they do is buy food directly from places like "Meijer" and other big grocery stores. Closeouts, and good food nearing expiration. What they do, is freeze it before it's bad... (so it's still good food) and sell it at half to a quarter cost. Brats we seen in Kessel "3.99", same thing for $1.00 here. I bought 6 lbs Bologna (from Lebanon) for $3.00. (You know when you go to the deli, and see those big long deli meats that they put on the "shaver" and get what you want. That's what this bologna is). Those deli select lunchmeats.. the ones that go for $3.99 in the grocery store.. $1.00 a pack. All bread was .50 each. That included sub buns, gormet burger buns.. everything. 8pks of large bagels was .50 each. We only spent $30 there, and came home with 3 large bags of food. Then we went to the "regular" grocery store to get what they didn't have, and came home with half the amount of stuff for $80. Heck, I'll probably wanna go back for the food deals alone.. lol.

Ok.. well I am home now. I need to cut this meat up, and put it in baggies. Then, I'll be adding links to my site all night, and promoting it.

Later all,
Gary

Holy chit. That's a killer deal. I hope it doesn't give you the runs.
