Well, the show kinda sucked in the mall in Lansing. I really thought that one would be good. We had the prime location, there were tons of people in the mall. Just sales didn't go well. I know a few store owners there and they said it's been that way lately. Damn, can't wait till the Democrats to get in office again.

Another thing that sucked. Weather forcast was for rain. If you know anything about business, if your in a mall and it rains, it brings people inside. It was sunny all day. Just as the mall closed, we were walking outside when we got "Huge" storms. Flooded the roads, all that. Our plans was to go to the "tittie" bar, but the roads were so bad (Danny) who was driving couldn't see. Tittie bar trip was cancelled :(

On the plus side. We were close to my buddie Craig's. He had my computer there. I was able to pick it up, and bought stuff to "network" it. Now, we have both Roxann's, and my computer here. That means, I can be on whenever I want. Yippeeee! :) That actually made this whole show worthwhile. I was staying at Danny's (who lives close to Craig.. we don't). If I hadn't did this show, no telling how long it would be before we made it to Craig's to get my computer. Mine is the strongest one too, I can run most anything, and I have tons of chit on it. So good to have my "baby" back :)... lol.

After tonight, I won't be able to use it for a week. We are leaving early in the morning to go "South Dakota". It least it will be ready when I get back. I think I got everything functioning. I do have yahoo messenger, if you know me add me. It's "Cutoutcoins@yahoo.com". On another note.. It's like a 14 hour trip to South Dakota. Personally I doubt we will make it in one day. We would if "Sebastian" (The baby) wasn't with us (he is). I expect we will be stopping alot and staying a night in a motel. I just hope (overall) he can handle this. He likes car rides, so we is HOPING!!

I took a few pics of our booths in the mall today. The pics suck (cheap camera), but will give you an idea what we do. Danny sells "autographs", Jim "comics", and I cut "coins". We are all the best at what we do, so it actually works out when we go into the mall together. On our own, no other vendors. Each is a draw in his own way. Yes, this week sucked, but sometimes it's great.

You can partially see my main mall display in the distance. Bigger then it looks here, but you probably seen it before. It's like one of 5 displays I have right now.



In this pic, you can see (only a) part of Danny's. Jim has his on the other side. They are huge actually. All those shirts, plaques, (with sport teams autographs) take alot of room. My mall display is only like 14 ft frontage, 6 foot deep. I prefer mine, Cut coins are "small", I can pack alot in little space. They can't. They are still packing up hours after I've gone home.. lol.

They have set up a full mall circuit for the fall. They want me at every show. I plan to do alot (not all). Fall is when things start to get busy. I plan to set up a huge booth in a Flea market in Flint. I will have my stuff and theirs. Plus be in a few stores too. See we all have product that will sell. We all know eachother, so they will sell my stuff where they are, I will sell theirs where I plan to be. It will be like, whoever sells gets something like 25% from the other. I actually expect this to be a good holiday season. Last year wasn't great (although I did make money), mainly because I wasn't in Michigan long (Lived in Florida before), and I didn't have time to set things up right. I'm pretty much on track now.
