Old People...

They don't smell good, they are opinion'ated as hell. They will tell you what they think of your life (even) on their last "heartbeat". What are they "Good for really"? Hummmm..... I wonder.

Often they are "parents". Yours. Well, you can't diss your parents. When you "accidently" drive drunk into some dude's house, your gonna need some help. Your best friends WON'T help (this one I can promise). If you call your parents, and BEG like no tomorrow (if it's the first time) they will help. You may get bailed out of jail. (MAYBE..)

Grandparents are REALLY old. Super cool while growing up... but.... (They bought you presents, ice cream, all that) Your grandparents lived through the "Great Depression".. your 80 (sumptin)Grandpa served in WW2, and no chance of any help from him before you listen to a 12 week story, on his life.

So are the "Old people" better or worse then us? In my opinion, they are just the same. Look at WW2, look at Vietnam, look at everything really. They are just like us, and dealt with what they had the way they could. Most of them want us to "Not" make the mistakes they did. But we will. Human nature.. we are all "pee's in a pod" to be honest. We are all close to same, depending on the circumstance.

I listen to my "elders", but I never think they "Know it all".. Always use what people say.. as an "opinion"... Hell if I was a "German" and listened to "Hitler Blindly", where would I be? The German people listened Blind (many not all) and look what happened.

I hope ALL of you that read this, maintain your OWN personal thoughts. Never become a cog in the machine.. never be a YES MAN! Listen to family, but maintain yourself.

My parents, and grandparents. I love with all my heart. I love their generation and mine. I think theirs sucks, but so does mine.. lol.

So what are "Old People" good for?? They teach us mistakes!!!
