Been getting ready all day for this "Mothers Day show" in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. It's a 2 day show. We will drive back and forth. For those that don't know, it's like on the "west" side of Detroit. It's a fairly long drive for us. With traffic, I'd guess 1hr/45 minutes each way. (mapquest shows a little less).. but I used to do this years ago. I'd say we need a 2hr/15 minute lead to get all set up right.

It's right downtown in a major city. On the street. The "skyscrapers are all around". They close off the streets for it. Not a show that draws "tons" of people (Like I will be writing about this summer), but we expect to do decent. It's a "Mother's Day show". People want "Mom cut", her name or whatever. I have a fairly in-expensive product that can be custom made there. Mothers day (and others) I generally sell well. Let's pray for no rain (which is expected the second day).

It's a show I used to do years ago. With a different promoter. So I kinda know the deal, but not the changes. What I do know is "parking", "setting up" and alot of other things are a "Bitch". I avoided this one for years for these reasons.. but decided to do it again.

We are packed. The display is ready. If I remember correct, the only places to eat there are an "EXPENSIVE BAR", and an "EXPENSIVE DELI". Now you can always drive for stuff, but here you have park blocks away in a city. Not easy. So we made alot of food. We will be eating homemade "Deli", I made a special recipie "Tuna salad thing (It's good! But I won't explain that here.. too long).. and we got lunch meat and stuff. Sebastian prefers a bottle of milk, and whatever scraps he can beg from us. So we will all be ok (Yes, Sebastian "1 yr old" works with us.

It's after "Midnight now". I've done this 24 years now, and still I never sleep at a decent time before a show. I got 2 beers left, and must wake at 6am. I may just stay up all night.. I don't know. If I sleep... won't be long. This is "WHY" I am so nutty about having most everything ready at night. I don't "function" worth chit in the morning.. lol.

After I get around, I become a top class "artist".. I've said before (and I doubt many would deny) I am "erratic", I am a bit different.. "When I am good I am really good", "When I am fucking up".. I am pretty good at that too.. lol. Overall, I think I am just a decent guy that want's all right in the world.. one that doesn't cave in easily..

Today, we packed up. Made signs (Mother Day). Made cards for customers. Got the chains, other supplies. Over $300 in expenses went into this show already (Will be more). Some stuff will be left over. We have done shows before this (this summer), but this to me is the "Kickoff" to me. Starting a summer I think will be decent.

TETANUS--

How many people have you known that died from "Tetanus"? I'm guessing NONE.. Unless you live in one of those "African" countries neither of us can pronounce... lol. If you read my last posts, I need to say I now decided to "Blow off" the Tetanus shot. I don't know how long it been.. I know I am due. But I am more likely to die in an accident on my way towards "Detroit" tomorrow (Or even a shooting). Fuck "Tetanus", I won't be worried about it.. lol.

MISS CALIFORNIA--

She is getting a RAW deal! That's what I feel. She wasn't the "HOTTEST BABE"! Not at all. No man would kick her out of bed, but she wasn't the best either. North Carolina could "warm my bed" with her back forever!! Yet, miss California is HOT too!

I felt her response to that "fag" judge was in good taste. She basically said her thoughts. She said she felt marriage was supposed to be between a man and a woman. She mentioned she didn't want to offend anyone. That was her opinion, and she went out of the way to offend nobody. The dude went "off the wall" on her. To me, it's not because he likes sucking dicks that I am pissed and call him a "fag", it's because he shows a total NO CLASS. He is a Fag, and a Nigger to me. Nothing to Me is about "color or race". It's about "actions" This "Gay judge" went on and on against her. With no call really.

So now, the "Religious" peeps are against her too. The ones that supported "California" before. She posed some pictures, for a "Lingerae" shoot. Personally, I find them "ok". I am a "pervert" so I could be wrong. I'll still stick to my thoughts. Miss California didn't do ANYTHING wrong!! (Hell I am posting her worst pic on this post) I feel "Miss North Carolina" was better (Ha, I picked her from the start).
