This is a news paper article of "Me, my mom (Marti), and my little brother Brian". I am the dark haired one on the far right.
I told you all before, I come from a long family line of artists (And you suckers didn't believe me.. lol). This was taken when I was 6 years old, so my brother was 3 years old. I don't know how how clear the picture will show up. But if you look close, she was making candles back then. She had a unique process. I remember in our basement.. we had a huge sandpit. Well her and my stepdad melted the wax, and did made designs under the sand. Now when the was was poured into the sand.. it left the base of the candles very unique (and I haven't seen anything like it to this day). They then added layers of colored wax to the top.. and "wow" candles you won't find "replicated" anywhere. I truely wanted to post the article too (what they said).. because everyone was impressed. Mom and my stepdad made a living doing that many years when I was young. They quit that, because mainly the process took so long. My grandma (who is 97 now) is the only one that still has alot of those candles in her house.
My mom and stepdad went onto other things. All art related. Through the years they did alot of different things. My cousins, me, and alot of others in my family. My aunt Carol runs the famous art gallery in Flint Michigan, and my cousin "David Magee" wrote the screenplay for the movie "Finding Neverland" with Kate Winslet and Johnny Depp.
Myself.. I've cut coins (Logos and other designs) for 24 years. This weekend I will be in a show in "Pontiac Michigan". Near Detroit Michigan. So for the next two days, I will be stocking up and working on getting ready for that.
I just try to give you all a "sense" of my life! Hope I don't bore ya...
Gary :)
