A Journey Into My Life

American Idol

I'm writing this, as I am watching "American Idol". It's getting down to the "Nitty gritty (so to speak)", so I'll just speak my thoughts.

Remember when "Carrie Underwood" was on? I seriously doubt many would think she wasn't headed for stardom. What she had for us was.. "Hot ass looking young woman, great voice and sound, strong looking beliefs, great smile, and when she cried she melted your heart". Not to mention all her songs were "catchy". Basically.. she had it all! Entertainment for both men and women.. and few would deny. She will be around for quite some time I am sure.

Watching "American Idol" today (And this is getting to the finals), I don't see anyone at her (Carries) level. I actually think many here "sound better". But when you put the whole package together, none of the contestants on now really have the "star" quality. To be a "star" you need the look, feel, the sound... even how you relate to people. Simon gets a ton of flack.. but you know what, he's better at spotting new talent then anyone. He produced this show, and is pretty right on mostly.

She hasn't came up yet, but there is this "Blonde" on today. I seen her before, and really liked her. She didn't get the "greatest" reviews then.. but to me she "had it". Not because of looks, cause of all. I think they were overly hard (before) they seen she had more. Anyway.. I am out now.... I wanna see how this goes. It's only half through..
