Adding more inches..

I added like 4 inches today, and it only cost me $10.

I am sure you guys don't believe it.. but I'll tell you how it happened....

I was walking through the "Flea Market" today. Early, I like to scope it out in case I need anything. I found this computer monitor "17 inches" (in great shape). I have been using a stupid little "13" inch (Now what were you thinking when you read my blog title?? Perverts!! All of ya.. lol).

Anyway, I seen "desperation" in the dude's eyes. He didn't price anything. I could tell, he likes to "feel things out".. decide on a case by case basis what he thinks his customers will pay. Trust me, I know these "Flea Market" people. I asked him what he wanted. He looked at me, said.. I don't know, it's a great monitor. I can plug it in and show you. "No (I said), I'll trust you". If I decide to buy it, and it doesn't work I'll be back tomorrow. I ask, no fading, or anything.. "No he said,, it's like perfect". "What you want for it?" I ask. I think I can get $30 here he says. Then he says, I'll give it to you for $20. I say, I haven't sold chit yet today.. so I don't have much cash (I lied, just sold my old laptop.. first 5 minutes there). How about I give you "$10".. guaranteed sale? He decided to "sell it". I gained "4 inches, with a $10 bill".. Hell, if I pushed it I could've got it cheaper.. lol. But no.. it's worth over $50 in most markets. Over $300 new. The thing is, many are upgrading to the flat screens.. so lots of these are out there now. I don't care about a flat screen yet (till cheaper). But I wanted a "17 inch" again. My last one died and I bought a "13" inch for like a dollar temp then. I really got a good deal here. Video Games "Rock AGAIN"!!

Later, I went back to the same dude, he had an almost new looking "Ryobi" drill. I need some more chargeable drills for my busy shows this summer. I use them "non-stop", I cut like 8 (or more) hours a day there. Ryobi is a good brand. He swears the batteries are good, but the charger (that had a radio) wouldn't charge. It was still a working radio, but wouldn't charge. I managed to get him down on his price again. The drill that retails for $60-$80 in stores (new), I paid $1 for.. lol. I need the charger, but I'll find that cheap too.

Sales wise, it wasn't really great. Less then I expected. We made money, but not as hoped. It was kinda cold today, and expected to be colder tomorrow. We left early cause cold for Sebastian in the crib. We left much of the display, Risking a theft, but at this point in my life.. I risk alot. We will go back. I don't expect much. When summer "really hits" we will do great I think.. it's not quite there yet.

We are set up next to a "Tatoo artist". So we kinda got to meet him. He is cheaper then alot I know, and is pretty good. Roxann has him bringing all his "pictures" tomorrow. I think she is seriously considering getting one from him. Here, at this market he can't do the tatoos, but is doing body piercings. But we know where he is at. I got a tatoo I want (A hot chick on a chopper), but when I do that.. it's gonna be one of the "Best" artists anywhere. I know dozens of tatoo artists. Many have offered them free to me even. I've spent the night at many of their houses. They are usually drunk then, so I wouldn't get HA,, lol. The main problem is, usually when I see them they are at an event, and I am too. Both working doing custom work. On my days off. I really don't go to events. I don't have a tat now, but I will be getting one. And I will make sure it's from the "Best"!

Oh, this is kinda cool too. The guy that sets up the "sound stage" at KCQ (That music fest). That's the concert on the island I will be doing next month, is right next to us. Lots of country stars, I don't like country.. so I can't remember all the names. I know one name "Travis Tritt" will be there, as well as many other big names. 80,000 people go to this island.. so it will be packed. Would be "Super duper cool" if we could get some back stage passes to this. For Roxi (I'll be working). I've managed that before at other places (I'll try).. but I doubt here. I don't know this guy well. Last time that happened was in Florida. I met (and did work) for the sound man for "David Allen Coe" at the world famous "Iron Horse Pub" at Daytona Beach Florida. That was during "Daytona Bike Week". I never met the band, just the sound man. But he took me into his "Mixing room" and I did cut many coins for him. He was gonna give to the band. I had the best spot in the place. To see the concert. But I didn't appreciate it as much as most. I just am not a "Country Music" fan. It was Super cool tho.. cause there.. women show their tits like it's nothing.. lol. I just never know how an event or festival will go. Till I get there really.

After checking my email, and responding to comments I get about "stupid" stuff I write. I got in a "reading mode". I do that alot.. but I was reading more about "Jesse James" (The Biker one, not the cowboy). Well he married (now divorced) this famous Porn Star named "Janine Lindemulder". She's famous in that industry (Penthouse, all that), but I didn't recall her name from movies I've watched. I really didn't know porn stars had names till now.. Anyway, I went on farther to read... she dated "Vince Neil", used to only do porn with girls, but has changed her mind (go figure). Now she does both.

I also found she was sentenced to "6 months" in jail or prison for not paying back IRS taxes. This month even... Yep.. as I write this she may be "cuffed and stuffed"...

I am sure you all know me as a "Concerned Citizen". That's one thing nobody can deny. Well, I feel she "needs friends now". I noticed on a "Google Search", she has a "MySpace page". Ok, I went through all that crap to signup to "Myspace" to contact her. I invited her to be a "friend of mine". I wrote a long letter. I just hope her mind isn't all fucked.. I hope she isn't in jail yet. I hope she lets me become her friend, and I can "help fix" that distorted mind she has....
