Yes, believe it or not. I am on a "12 step" program. Let me tell you what it's about............

Often, in the middle of the night. Sebastian starts freeking out. Most others are asleep here. Sometimes I am awake, sometimes I'm not. What I know, is once he gets to "crying".. my 12 step program begins.

1) I drag my ass out of bed, or off the computer (wherever I am). I have to see if he is "ok" and what is actually his issue. It's about 12 steps either way. Ironic however, this is just the "first step", of the 12 step program.

2) I check his "diaper". Is it filled with pee, is there some "poop" in there? If there is, I change it.

3)If I can't find a diaper, I have to check the bed for one. If it got lost, can only mean one thing. He pulled the sucker off... (He loves being naked).. Now I need to locate it.. and usually change all the "sheets". Likely a mess there.

4) I take care of those things.. but he is still fussy. His hands are in the air.. and with tears he is screaming "UP".. many words he says now.. are clear and make sense.

5) I think he is "hungry". So I make some of his "favorite foods". At this time of night, (I'm dad.. not mom).. they are "sweet and tasty"!

6) He still is "Freeking",, throwing a major fit. I got no clue, I try some "French Toast and syrup" (which he won't touch)..

7) I put on some loud "Katy Perry" music. I actually think he is as "hot for her" as I am. But no,, even that don't work. Bouncing him on my lap doesn't work.

8) I put him on the floor. I tell him,.. your a "Baby", but I didn't think you were a "Cry Baby".. Upsets him what I said, but he won't stop. I think he "cries louder" to piss me off more.

9) I pretend to ignore his "crying" for like 5 minutes. That's like "Hell" to me..... I must give in...

10) Roxann is dead asleep. I go in the room.. and wake her up. Yes, she is pissed I did that.. but by that time I don't give a "flying rats ass". I tell her.. I tried everything! (which I did). She is like.. just lay him down in the portable crib beside our bed (he usually sleeps in his own room).

11) He fell asleep instantly (the little turd).. Just wanted "Momma" that time. To my credit.. he loves being with dad too. Just often (she is gone more then me), he really wants her!

12) I finished the "12 steps". I still have 1 beer left, and now I can finish it before I go to sleep....
