Someone sent me this for Thanksgiving and I thought is so beautiful that I wanted to share this with all of you.

The unfolding of time unveils the inevitability of change and ultimately for the good.

Thanksgiving is a time to consider the blessings that surround our lives, our families and our communities. Nothing can shield us from the unfolding of the universe.

I’ve discovered that more than anything, people have the most profound impact on me - more than events, circumstances or things. Nothing is more hopeful and affirming than the birth of children to our families. At that moment, possibility and hope abound. I think we feel this same expectancy at the dawn of a new age in America.

Tony Kushner wrote that “the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards justice…” I choose to believe this. I also choose to believe that the arc of human development bends towards illumination, often only understood or compelled following periods of extreme darkness.

You are a part of the light in my life and my Thanksgiving is for the love that you give me and to the larger world.
