The temp in the barn read 103 degrees yesterday - Miz and Slayer requested a shower before heading out to graze last night. Will leave soon to put them in for the day.

Baxter is at war with a Mockingbird by the front door and is thinking of writing a cat novel, "I killed a Mockingbird"

Vacation didn't last long enough... I find myself daydreaming every afternoon about sitting by the ocean and digging my toes into the sand.

This weekend my redheaded grandson will come down from Kentucky for a week long visit. I can't wait.

On the campaign front, I have received several invitations for "Buggs" to visit Iraq and neighboring countries, however, I can not get the security we need to commit at this time. Maybe when Mr. Obama returns we can make our move then.

LizzieAnn ( bluegrasslady) is having a really tough time with her health. Please stop by and say hello and give her a big hug. Prayers go out to our Deb also.
