What a wonderful tribute for him. He was a beautiful dog - thanks for sharing your feelings about this. I too wear my heart on my sleeve and can cry just thinking about losing one of my girls.

Huxley looks so wise in that photo. I always told my students that it was the last thing we can do the show them how much we love them. Doesn't make it any easier.

I'm glad you're back. I'm looking forward to reading more of your posts. I too have several feeders - and used to have a cat that went outside. Never had to watch him get birds, but he brought home lots of other trophies.

I didn't see that story but I have read that lots of people don't want to be tested. I won't be surprised if I get it. I just hope there are better meds by then.

Update - my doc said the biopsies were normal. He wants me to have the next one in 6 months because one of the polyps was so big. He wants to make sure he got it all and that it doesn't come back. I still think there's something he's not telling me. Anyway, it's good news in that regard. I just with he had found out why I'm having the problems that sent me to the doctor in the first place.

Yes it's really a squirrel. She is one of two babies that come every day. They chow on the seeds that fall out of the bird feeders.
