The Alzheimer's Project

HBO is sponsoring a series of videos about Alzheimer's Disease. It begins tonight and runs through Tuesday evening. They have opened it to anyone with cable, whether they have HBO or not.

It is also available to those with Satellite service on the Dish Network on channel 102 (I think.) It isn't on that channel in my area, my mom has the Dish Network and it wasn't going to be on that one. I did find it on a premium satellite channel but she didn't want to upgrade her service for this series. I can undrstand that.

In addition, for those of us that don't have cable or satellite service, the entire series is available online now at this link: https://www.hbo.com/alzheimers/the-films.html
For some reason my links aren't showing up or aren't clickable when they do. So, if this one is missing, go to www.hbo.com/alzheimers/the-films.html.

You will be able to buy the videos, beginning June 2 at this link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001UXJGJ2?ie=UTF8&tag=thealzsrearoo-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B001UXJGJ2 > If this link doesn't show up, go to Amazon.com and type in "The Alzheimer's Project." It should take you right to the page so you can place your order. Actually, it takes you to a list of items, click on the top one - that's where you can order the DVD.

My mother was recently diagnosed with Mixed Dementia, which combines Alzheimer's with Vascular Dementia, so I'm trying to learn everything I can.
