As an American who has lived in Asia for the last 25 years, I may have a somewhat different viewpoint from many of my countrymen. What we say is not nearly as important as what we do. Killing six millions ordinary Asian civilians is not good public relations. Conducting false flag operations to justify preemptive wars does not promote tranquility. The media lies that Russia started the flare-up in Georgia. Our leaders do not represent our citizens, but you will find a hard time convincing Asians of that.
