Soup, Part Deux

I forgot to mention onion in the soup. Have to have onion. Also parsley and a bay leaf. That's it.

My garlic comes up like my dill weed--naturally. Both are almost obnoxious.

I have an onion plant that has been coming up for years. It sets seeds but no bulbs.

I add garlic, too. Or did you mention that in part 1?

Most of the time I add garlic. It depends what I am making. Do you grow your own garlic? I always think I will try it but I miss the planting time.

Oh THERE's the onion. Las Vegas has a freeze warning for overnight tonight, so we're in the soup weather, too. Big ham bone in the freezer is calling to me.

Bean soup is good but I will be making split pea soup with the ham bone that is in my freezer.

Love the thought of that ham bone in a huge crock of navy bean soup. MMMMM

Lacking something, that is what!

What would vegetable soup be without onions?
