Get the best price when shopping online
*This article was from yesterdays "Cool Site of the Day" eMail from the Kim Kommando show.
Christmas is a fun time of year. But it is easy to overdo it when shopping for loved ones. So you need to shop carefully. It's a good idea to compare prices and shop around.
But even the most careful shopper can't anticipate everything. An item can go on sale just after you bought it. That can be very frustrating.
Fortunately, most stores will give you a rebate for the difference. This is called a price-protection policy. But you can't get a rebate if you don't know about the sale.
You could watch the prices manually, but who has time? Try today's Cool Site, Price Protectr, instead. It watches prices on purchased items for you.
Price Protectr watches 160 stores, including Amazon, Apple, Best Buy, Costco, Sears and Staples. Just copy the Webpage of the product you bought into Price Protectr. Then enter your e-mail and wait.
The site will e-mail you if the price drops within the protection period. Then you can apply for a rebate.
Just remember that Amazon's price protection guarantee only covers televisions. Other stores may have similar restrictions. I recommend checking store policies before buying.

As an avid Techno-Tard, (maybe even King?), I've not figured out how to post a clickable link, but a quick "copy & paste" of the above URL should get you there!
Happy holiday shopping!
