May 1, 2015. It’s hard to believe that this year is already a third of the way over. A couple months and we’re at the half way mark.
I had another doctor appointment today, a checkup of the work done on the first six surgeries. Mostly good news. One of the six veins that they collapsed needs to be worked again. Everything else checked out okay. I found out that I’ll most likely need to wear compression socks for the rest of my life. Not too bad. Things could be a lot worse. There are three more veins that I have scheduled for surgery on in June and July. After years of pain or numbness in my legs, these surgeries I’ve had since January have been a God send to me. I’ve been pain free, with no numbness since a few days after the first surgery and the old, active me is back. Doc told me that wearing the compression socks will make my legs feel even better, so I ordered two today. I can hardly wait to find out how I’ll feel.
That’s all for tonight. Have a wonderful night all!
