sorry, its too long to read this morning..I dont have time...some of us gotta go to work ya know...
that's good to know...I will check what number we use in Aus..
Thank you so much teal, I feel you are a good friend.
they jumped in to get out of the water...they stayed on the boat because they didnt want to get back in the water..they swim pretty good but they dont like it very much...they're pretty smart and they know which side their bread is buttered on....
I dont know how to answer this, I went through the same thing (sort of) when I first moved here (Jakarta) from Perth. The first year I was getting emails regularly from family and friends back home, I emailed just as regularly. Over time the emails became less and less even though I still kept sending them from my end. I feel hurt about it but I put it down to time and distance, I try not to take it personally to avoid that "hurt" feeling. If your friendship is important to someone, they will let you know...this has always been my thought..but I dont know so much now.
I agree with the writer's concerns. Homophobia is still very prevalent in our society and these sorts of ads may lead to the usual anti-gay "sentiment" that still prevails and could cause a few gay teens to feel they are being mocked. Not a good idea, especially to be shown at the superbowl.
oh dear, JoeZ's gonna be pissed!!!!!!
The one fear tactic the Republicans use that really pisses me off more than anything is the "socialist" thing. Politicians accusing President Obama of being a socialist and destroying the constitution. An out and out bald faced lie and being used only because they've got nothing else to justify their hatred of him.
From an outsider looking in (and unashamedly admitting, a huge Obama fan)I thought his State of the Union speech was awesome. I liken it to a nice big balloon inflating with hope and confidence and that's how people should take it. Then the Republican responses came along (idiots!!) came with a huge pin and bursted the balloon....way to go party poopers!!!
Seriously, at a time when there is so much worry about the economy, people making sacrifices, many still looking for employment...why do these idiots keep wanting to crush people's hopes and confidence the way the do!!! GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
I will say it again...shame on you for enjoying your life so much!!!!
I am a fan of your blogs and your writing. I think you are a very talented and intelligent lady and your write very articulate and well researched topics and are not afraid of negative responses. I think you're great.
I am totally different, I didnt realize I even liked writing until I started writing my life stories at blogster. I hated writing at school...hated writing essays more than anything. But I have to say, once I started writing my stories, I found it very therapeutic and enjoyable.
Subversion is a crime. In my opinion this is exactly what they are doing and they think they are protected under the first amendment, it is still a crime and they should be keel-hauled in my opinion.
What an ER nightmare for you Teal, I'm so sorry you had to go through that. Hope you get well real soon, sending you healing thoughts and lots of love.
Everything happening with these people goes back to despicable abuse of the first amendment. There is something to be said about stifling some people's first amendment rights because those people do NOT deserve to have this right, they are dangerous and they should be stifled. Enough about individual rights if it leads to the destruction of a whole nation.
arrrrgggghhhhhh!!!. Just looking at him incites me to shoot HIM in the head....grrrrrrr!!!
The same goes for the people of his ilk at the other "place"....I used to ask all the time...."What is wrong with these people?"...I dont anymore, they're whackos, that's what's wrong with them.
