Oh wow, that is terrible!I haven't put the telly on yet, so I knew nothing about it. Are you in a 'safe' area?
Good on you Mary Perhaps she thought you were a 'push over', well you showed her, that you most definitly are NOT!!! Good Girl! I'm proud of you
Good luck with your workout on Monday! It'll give you incentive too by having the holiday booked too - when you get a little tired, focus on it & it may give you an extra 'push'. Have you had the rain? It wasn't quite as extreme as they had promised, thankfully.
YaY for Hobbes!!! He is sooo gorgeous
I finished with blogster a good while back. It has changed so much from when I began there what is it . . . 5 years ago? It is a shame when you think it was so much like this place - Eddie deserves a medal for managing to give us that 'shangrila' again. Blogster has gone down hill rapidly, since he left it.
Great stuff!
How did you get on?
A lovely picture. The morning star, hands ready to catch the falling new found wishes - fabulous interpretation. I also love the way you have the reflection of the snowy scene on the floor
Glad all was okay at the doctors How long ago was your heart op? I remember you having it, got to have been about 4 years isn't it? You are certainly keeping well & healthy Just listen to your body when it tells you to sit down and rest a spell. It is lucky that you caught the roof when you did - could have been a disaster!
I have never wanted a dish washer, don't mind doing them myself. I do have an automatic washing machine & a separate tumble drier though. My husband does the installation himself, so it is much easier.
Julian will be fine - and so will you He is in so many peoples thoughts and prayers. I don't think you have 'lost' any part of yourself - you have merely added, another part - The Warrior 'you'. A tattoo is a good idea - but make sure you have it done in a 'clean and hygienic' shop (don't be tempted to try doing it yourself - the last thing you need is blood poisoning). It would act as a reminder 'to be strong' if you ever feel at a 'low' point.
Obviously, I cannot comment about the sports announcers you have over there - I've never heard them speak lol. However, I do have a similar problem when I have to speak via a 'call centre' - which is usually in an Asian country, many of which have a very minimal knowledge of pronunciation of the English language. This, can be extremely frustrating . . . to say the least. I find that if I am writing with the knowledge that other people are going to read it, I will endeavour, to write correctly, but if I am writing for the attention of my friends and family, then I will write as if I am speaking to them 'face to face' - then I will allow 'slang' to be written. Another thing that can, be annoying is the 'spell checker' - it constantly tells me that I am miss-spelling words which I know (in 'English' English) to be correct - the last one being the word recently used - 'endeavour' - I know it is 'wrong' in America, but here, it is 'right' . . . . . . can't win
Good luck Jen I want to lose a few lbs which have got to come off (says she with a chicken casserole in the oven and going out the kitchen to make a couple of dumplings to go in it . . . . )
Hiya
I thought the title said that Fonda, had been found dead in a car - got to wear my glasses more often . . . I am glad that I did read it incorrectly - Peter Fonda is a great actor (as is all, the family, come to think of it).
