Ohhhh.... that tree sounds like a dream tree. I can just picture the glow of the blue lights reflecting off the silver. I'm still deciding whether or not to put up a tree. If... I do... I will buy one that already has lights. I don't like putting on the strings of lights. Happy Holidays. Annie :o)
I think I said it before, but I'll say it again. "I hate moving!!!!" So, I am understanding what you are going through. We all can hardly wait for this move to be finished and you can be back to regular blogging.
Sounds like it is going to be a beautiful tree!!!! Yep, it may be awhile before we have significant snow here on the West Coast. I know the ski resorts always hope for snow by Thanksgiving. Well... this year, they will be lucky if they have snow by Christmas.
We've been in some downturns in the past, but I think this one is going to be looooong and deeeep!!!! I think the financial sector is a complete mess and no bailouts will quickly fix it. This time, we will just have to bite the bullet and suffer a little pain. I fully expect to start seeing soup lines.
I'm still undecided as to whether or not to decorate. JR will only be home a couple of days and no one is coming to visit... so... why put out the effort? I'll just do what I have done the last two years, I'll enjoy everyone else's trees.
I'm glad you got Jolie taken care of. Hope she heals quickly. I know about those vet bills. I'm a big supporter of our animal clinic.
I have those times, too, when I feel sort of disconnected. I know I have depression because I don't want to get out of bed. That one is a sure sign. I hope your world gets better. I've learned to enjoy the little things that come my way and that is a help to me. Just building a morning fire and having my morning coffee is a little thing that helps to get me going. I wish there was more I could do to help, but know that my thoughts are with you.
NOpe... I've got AT&T.
I like that painting. Yes, when the snow is on the ground, it is a great time for the cozy couch, a glass of wine, and a good book.
Glad you got the phone situation all settled. Now.... am I on your fave list????
Martin is getting ready to send out a search party for you.
Maybe it is time to organize a search party. Docrock did the same thing.... just disappeared and then... the other night I found that he had been sneaking around on here just an hour or so before I clicked on. But... he didn't post or leave any messages. Weird. Well... we don't want to loose our elfie, so hopefully she is just busy and will let herself be known sooner or later.
BRAT diet is the answer. Bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. I know.... yuck. But it does work. No milk, no sugar, no fats or grease, no jelly on toast... just dry toast. And little bites at one setting. You poor girl. Hope you feel better soon. p.s. No chicken soup for the flu... too mybloggers. You can still blog on mybloggers... I think that won't make you sick.
Now, the bishop in Stockton is making sense. It is a matter of one's intent.
I think it is the idea that he keeps that truck running down the road at such a clip, the tire needs "cooling."
