I'm with you 100% on the courts not MAKING our laws. Their job is strictly to uphold the law, the Constitution, and to interpret law. But, never ever make law and it seems they are getting in to that business these days.

I'm completely sunk if the power goes off. It was off one night for a few hours, but nothing prolonged. Watering the animals would be my biggest concerned and keeping the vehicles going (diesel, so plugged into the house power). After reading your post... now, I'll be worried about the power!!!!

Sounds like you had some really great times this year. Making memories... that is what it is all about. Hopefully there will be more special memories in 2009. I know I'm going to really work on next year's memories.

What is with the weather on my profile page?????? Right now, it says it is 9 degrees, but the low tonight will be 13 degrees. huh?????

You sometimes get those treacherous ice storms. I remember my nephew talking about driving the winding coastal highway in such storms. I think that was another reason he moved to Vegas.
