Fair Play

I've always tried to be a fair blogger. I read people's blogs and try to comment in a fair and polite way. Then... I post a story about a plumber and I'm told it is all a hoax. Hey.... this story has been reported in the media on many occassion. But now.... I'm suppose to believe it is just a hoax.

Forget it. You liberals would say that the world wasn't round if you thought it would help your cause.

I'VE ENJOYED THIS CAMPAIGN AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO STATE MY VIEWS. I'VE ENJOYED READING YOUR VIEWS. BUT.... I'M TIRED OF YOU JUST DENYING EVERY STORY THAT COMES OUT THAT DOESN'T SUPPORT YOUR MAN.

THAT IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY TO ANY OF YOU.

Annie: As you probably already know, Joe the Plumber is just a guy who showed up at one of Obama's rallys asking questions about the candidate's tax plan and how it would affect him if he should buy out his employer's business, which grosses, according to Joe, over $250,000. Obama told him that it would be taxed at the regular rate up to that amount, but that anything over $250,000 would have an additional 3% tax plan. taxed under As it turns out, Joe has some problems. John McCain mentioned Joe the Plumber, aka Joe Wurzelbacher, the undecided Ohio voter who confronted Barack Obama over his tax proposal, at least 20 times in the final presidential debate. But just who is Joe the Plumber? For starters: he's not a licensed plumber. He owes back taxes. He is a registered Republican, and he is quite possibly a close relative of Charles Keating of the now infamous Keating Five. That led some Democrats to believe that he was a plant by McCain at the Obama rally.

Annie, I never said that you didn't have a right to be against Obama. I just get concerned when one side or the other has information presented against them which they have no control over. I feel this way for both candidates. McCain has had a lot of similar misstatements about things that he either he had no control over or are misstatements about what he has said or intends to do.
To say that I am denying it just because it is an attack on Obama is unfair. You know me better than that.
