Travel is Broadening

As long as I have good internet access, I feel at home most anywhere.

Airport at Reykjavik, Iceland. We had an unexpected extra 2 hours there.

Ladies room at that airport. Each stall is a fully-enclosed room with a fancy Dyson-designed faucet that has a water mode and a Dyson hand dryer mode.

It works really well.

One of the prettier parts of Iceland, seriously. They do have farms and areas where things grow, but I didn't see any of them from the airplane.

I don't remember reading that you were going to Iceland, so this post knocked me over. Hope you have a great time.

It was the layover on the way to England.

I would always be thinking, "wow, why are these people driving on the
wrong side of the road!"

Every inch of the way I realize what a challenge trying to adjust to the wrong way driving would be if I was behind the wheel.

I'm staying with relatives - riding with someone who drives here all the time is hair-raising, so I can't imagine trying to drive myself.

I'm amazed you're in Iceland. This is part of your journey to the UK? and please do keep taking photos of unexpected things like ultracivilized bathrooms.

Instead of connecting through the big east coast hubs, Icelandair flies from Denver to Iceland, change planes, then on to Manchester UK. Of course non-stop is even better, but this was cheaper than that.

Reminds me of when I grew up--in the Ice Age but no toilets!

It must be really something there during the winter.
