The entire floor in the log part of the cabin is gone, as well as the framing on the doors and old windows on the back wall. The next step is to stabilize it by putting a cable from wall-to-wall to tie the opposite walls together.
This is a 1 inch by 18 inch board. You can't buy those these days. It is rough cut Douglas fir, cut out of a really large tree, probably in 1910 when the log cabin was built.
