Spring Arrives

The first two hummingbirds arrived today, so spring is here for me.

Taken with a telephoto, the far river bank looks really close. I keep forgetting to go get that cinder block that was deposited by the flood.

That's right. We're supposed to have a big snowstorm this weekend, but it's a spring storm so it won't stick to the roads.

We had warm days, and then a cold snap that slowed down the snowmelt.

A big windstorm came through and it seemed like the hummingbirds left for warmer climes, but they're back, or at least more came. I have three feeders out because there is already guarding going on.
