News from Afar

Mr. Troutbend is now in Las Vegas.

Looks like we had a damaging hail storm sometime this summer. That screen is going to need replacing.

The neighbors put this out for the trash. It needs some fixing up, but the basic structure is sound.

This is out front of the house there:

I wonder if the oleander out back has bloomed.

Isn't it! I'm always excited to have something bloom in my yard because we don't have good luck with landscaping.

The cat structure was a great find, but my cat prefers to lounge underneath the couch.

One never knows what cats are going to take to, so it's a good thing we won't have a lot of money invested in it.

It must be nice to be able to get a taste of home while you are still in
Colorado.

I'm glad he thought to send a picture of the purple sage. That's a fairly new plant, and it's good to see it's doing well. Behind it is one of those green transformer boxes. We had one of those boxes in our previous yard, as if we tell the realtor: "find us a house with an ugly green box in the yard" when what we really tell him is the kitchen can't face west.

my entryway screen looks like that, courtesy of Max climbing it because there's a gecko on the other side. That's a beautiful bush. Stay well.

I'm glad I have Eloise Kitty to keep me company. We're going to spend the night next door this week so she can catch some of the mice that are over there.
