The Neighbors Debris Removal

Today, the river debris removal project moved down the line to my neighbors' property. I didn't think this was going to happen because although it was unsightly, it's up above the high runoff level, and we were told the program would not apply to undeveloped land.

What a great thing for them because although they don't have any structures on that land, potentially the county could have sent them a letter and told them they had 10 days to clean it up at their own expense. And he has brain cancer.

He's a relatively young guy, and I haven't heard lately how he's doing. I hope they will somehow think this debris removal was my doing and let my fishermen fish on their property from now on.

I thought the county sent them, but talked to someone last night, and turns out it was the state highway department. We're not sure why they are doing it, but not looking a gift horse in the mouth.
