Hope things get better - maybe when spring comes. We are in the banana belt here lately.
What a nice looking couple. That Orca has such a good shape, as if it's really swimming. And I don't want to go on about each item, but I think the red outfit might be my favorite. How is Angel?
How nice to hear, Deb. I know what you mean.
Seems like we took those times for granted.
All of a sudden a bunch of magazines I didn't subscribe to - Womens Health, People, Food Channel - started arriving at my Las Vegas address. I'm thinking Identity Theft, but I don't intend to pay for them because I didn't order them.
Just sitting here thinking about it, not a pretty thought. In Las Vegas when teenagers decide to rob a 7-11 or engage in some random act of violence, they don't hesitate to kill people because they have no concept of mortality and consequences of their decisions.
Oh, Bugg! Big doings, and hard to believe they let him come back. The wedding sounds exciting. I hope it's indoors because we all know how windy it is in Cow Snot.
Friends like that are so nice to have - they take us out of ourselves to see bigger things that don't come up in our every day thoughts.
It's been a strange winter this year, for various reasons.
I've always been struck by how little we learn about a movie be viewing the trailers that come up on TV or that tiny glimpse at the Oscars. It's often not the same movie. One of the things I enjoyed when I used to get movies on DVD from Netflix was the scenes that were cut, probably for the sake of time. Often they were illuminating and did a lot to fill out the story. A lot of the older movies, and by this I mean the 70s and 80s as much as any time, were longer - three hours sometimes. Now, it seems they all have to run in approximately the same couple of hours. I feel like art has been sacrificed to accommodate the shorter attention span of the cell phone generation and the convenience of multi-plex theaters.
Sounds great, wish I was there.
How exciting for all. I'll never understand how Jon can bring in all those cats a few at a time, and they all end up taking naps together.
I think self-doubt can come from how we were treated by our parents growing up. Things will be fine and it rears up out of nowhere once in awhile.
I can never pick a favorite anything, because so many choices and each has its good points, but there are definitely some movies that I can watch over and over.
It was 50 degrees here, and the wind went down enough that I washed both my car and truck out in front of the house. We found a large brush with a long handle that people use to wash their RVs in the flood debris, and it did a great job on the cars. Who says an ill wind doesn't blow some good? Now it's me who is up at an indecent time.
