Don't worry about the evangelism, we all have our day for it. Once in awhile I'll talk to someone who complains about joint and back pain, and I tell them how much better I feel since I cut down on gluten, or how my knee problems went away after I lost only 10 pounds, even though I have so many more to lose. It really does help to know about successful lifestyle changes because you never know when it will hit a person just right, and they'll embark on their own. There's always that element of 'if I can do it, so can you.'
What a mess. People are so unreasonable any more. Don't wear those scrubs pants again.
Sounds like a lot was accomplished. It really is nice to have a day when you don't have to be somewhere. I'm always thrilled when my calendar has some unscheduled days.
It's lovely! How exciting. I was worried about how the pink was going to go with the new tile, but you addressed that.
A nice big van sounds great. You can store your aluminum cans in it until you have enough to take to the recycling center - maybe a year's worth, depending on consumption patterns.
Very nice - it's perfect, and I've got that same scene around here in the winter, so I know how well you've captured it.
I've made so many different kinds of bars and cookies for meetings lately, and that recipe is so far the best, although people really like lemon bars.
It sure is dark in there. I laughed at those slides - could have been anything or nothing, but it was that room in the dark.
I was thinking about you the other day, so am very pleased to hear from you. Some time back I saw a movie set in Wales (I think) where they wanted to prove their mountain was taller than something else so the local people carried rocks up to make it taller. And now I forget if it was a true story or not, but it had the ring of truth, because I could imagine folks over there doing that and having a good time about it.
It can be at least a part-time job dodging all these 'opportunities.'
Very pretty, so nice to have such a reliable blooming set of bushes to welcome you home.
Yes, they'd better be cute babies - homely babies need not apply. Such a beautiful design, exquisite.
I'm so pleased that you had a nice time and got home okay. We got altitude sickness going up the volcano on Maui.
Incredible! Definitely something out of science fiction. I'm glad you're back on MyBloggers.
I made some tamales with the neighbors, that's the extent of my holiday-ness. They didn't trust me to help them make most of them, saved a little bit at the end and invited me over to do those.
