I often think in terms of how many annual events I have left: probably less than 20 Christmases, for example.
I've always felt that Jimmy Carter doesn't have the self-serving agenda that we're so accustomed to seeing in many of our politicians today, one political party in particular.
I know you've done it already, but take a moment to tell Kraymer how much you love him and how much he has meant to you, and you will never forget him. I've done that with various cats over the years, and looking back after they were gone, was so glad I did. Since we never know what life will bring us tomorrow, I do it pretty often with whatever cat I'm with at the time. People, too, but we usually tell them more often.
Reading the title of it, I couldn't imagine you watching such a movie, but one never knows, sometimes those sort turn out to be pretty good. Or not.
My Dell laptop was doing that jumping around - sometimes it's called 'losing focus' and I downloaded some little program that keeps it from doing it, but I can't remember what it's called. I'd have to look at that computer if you want to know what it is. (I'm using a Mac right now.)
Very nice. I'll be thinking about you driving around.
Lovely! Angel happy, too?
Several years ago I came home with several years' worth of old calendars where a farm woman kept track of their visits with family - there was one couple they either had over for dinner or went to their house for dinner once a week without fail, and with other family or friends coming in between, she must have had company for dinner at least 3 times a week. I tried to imagine the menus at those meals and decided she must have been a good cook to keep them coming back so faithfully.
Nothing like a good book - seems they are a rare find these days.
Yes, Christmas is coming right up. Our leaves are starting to turn, and the morning breeze whispers of the changing season. It's great to hear from you.
I like the movies or books that make me want to find more of the works by the same people.
My garden plants are struggling to produce - the cooler spring set them back so much, they are finally starting to get fruit, but there won't be time for it to mature. I don't know what I could have done different, so don't think about it too much. Except when I do think about it, I have to wonder.
It's worth a try. If she truly is too bitter to bear, she's probably used to potential friends passing through her life after a brief time. Good luck, I hope you can bring some sunshine to her day.
Makes what we're having for dinner tonight look pretty sad.
