Love it Part Two

Things are getting resolved, but not quite there yet.

This morning I spent an hour at the auto body shop while they wrestled the broken door open in order to get the panel off and see what could be wrong. Those poor men! They finally got it open and left the panel off, but then we were concerned that the door would lock automatically when the speed reached 20 mph and not open again. So the guy tried locking it, and sure enough, he had to get the other guy to lay across the seat and wrestle it open again. This time they disengaged the auto lock, so the door still works. The new part ($303 installed) will be in on Friday.

The next thing is to get the badly cracked windshield replaced. I was going to talk to this body shop about it, but decided they are too busy, so I'll take it to the bigger town.

Remember what I said about having to find a new insurance carrier? We finally got it nailed down today. It's cheaper than the previous insurance, and more suited to my type of operation. There is even coverage for hunting dogs and horses should I ever decide to develop that line of business. We had to take out a renters' insurance policy because our house is on the business policy. It's all so complicated.

Now that we're almost out of the woods, I can go back to making doll clothes.

Not sure if you got the windshield fixed before getting evacuated, but just want to say how glad I am that you and Eloise are okay. I'm still fretting about your property and all your things, and I'm so sorry you had to go through this....

What about the flooding? Are you underwater? It looks bad watching the news from CO.
