... for about 10 minutes, and now the sun is out again. It wasn't enough rain to really help the grass, but it was nice to see there is still such a thing as rain around here.
Maybe the monsoon is here at last and it will rain again tomorrow.
Here are the hummingbirds at peak feeding time. Some of them left for the south already, but there are still plenty here.

I have never seen so many hummingbirds in one place at the same time! How wonderful!
Do you actually hear the hum? We have lots of birds down here. The ibis especially gather in groups of about 20 and feed on whatever on the lawns. Then they walk across the road sometimes single file. They are a sight. Will post photo again when I find it.
Oh my Goodness, I'm lucky to see one hummingbird at a time and that is rare. This is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
