Fall Colors

Here in Colorado our fall color is mostly the golds and oranges of aspens.

I think this picture would make an excellent painting.

Frangipani lose their leaves and look geometric. I miss the northern fall. I also like the nip in the air before the weather gets really cold.

Not really--our trees lose their leaves but more likely in March!!!

Our trees are just starting to change now. Nothing as spectacular as yours though. The second picture is a beauty. Well, so is the first.

They were little tiny in size. It was when it worked for the small ones. Now, I think it's all fixed.

The cottonwoods do turn yellow... and the aspens on Cedar Mtn, of course. They were at their peek yesterday 9/29, often with shades of red mixed into the yellow.
