For some reason the leaves on our trees down here in the canyon are slow to turn color this year.



It's more of a fading, and eventually they will turn yellow. Monday we are supposed to get the first snow. Tomorrow will be 70 degrees for a high, Monday will be only 32 degrees, and 4 - 6 inches of snow expected.

This is my favorite fall picture, taken several years ago. So much has changed since the flood. At least we still have the bridge.



The warm weather is helpful for getting things ready for winter. Last week we had some rain and snow, and I waited for this nice weather so I could finish things up. We can get high winds in the winter, so I have to make sure all the yard stuff is secured.
