She wouldn't believe it when I told her she wouldn't be able to take her partial bottle of water through airport security, but I'm sure she found out. I could have watched her start through, but couldn't stand the thought, so I sat outside in the car when I could see the passengers coming out of security (it's a small airport) until I saw her go by.
On the way home I stopped at the store and found a marked-down crown pork roast. What a showy thing it was! And big! It would fill the oven. The orange is a place-holder - it is supposed to be replace by stuffing.

Here is the latest picture of the fox, taken during the snow storm on Tuesday.

I saw the bear last night: the yard light came on, and there he was, walking toward the bridge. He tried to get into the trash can at the fishing parking spot, but the lid stayed on. He wasn't huge, maybe as tall as a great Dane dog, but of course he weighed 300 pounds or so.
It was a beautiful spring day. The river is about a foot and a half deep because the Bureau of Reclamation is moving water to fill Horsetooth Reservoir and there is some runoff from this week's snow.

I planted my nasturtium seeds too soon and they will get too big before I can plant them outside, but I think what I will do is start my hanging basket indoors - in other words, transplant them to their permanent spot and keep it on my dining room table until it's safe to put them out.
The hummingbirds should arrive any day now if they realize how warm it has been. I have a feeder out ready to fill the moment the first one comes and looks in the window.
